I have been a motion designer for almost 10 years. I have freelanced, worked with big tech brands, and spent more time than I would like to admit doing the same repetitive tasks over and over again.

Before motion design I was building websites and messing around with Flash and ActionScript (yep, that old). So when I got deep into After Effects, I naturally gravitated towards expressions and building rigs that automated the repetitive stuff. I would regularly get sidetracked on projects because I had spotted something that could be made reusable. Probably to my own detriment.

That obsession led me to building script panels so I could have quick access to all the automations I had been hoarding. Once I had panels that worked for me, I started thinking about what they could look like as real tools for other designers.

ToolsForMotion is where all of that comes together. Every tool starts with a problem I have hit on a real project. If something slows me down, I will find a way to make it faster. My mission is simple, build tools for motion designers who value their time.
