Terms of service
Last updated: August 2026
By accessing or using toolsformotion.com, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or purchase our products.
Website use
You may browse and use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to access it through unauthorised means, or interfere with its operation.
Accounts
To access purchased products, downloads, and license keys, you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us at support@toolsformotion.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are involved in fraudulent activity, or have been inactive for an extended period. We will notify you by email before taking any such action where possible.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, product designs, and code, is owned by ToolsForMotion and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our written permission.
Some images and graphics on this site may be sourced from third-party stock providers such as Freepik and are used under their respective licenses.
Purchases
All purchases are processed through Polar, our payment processor. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Polar's Terms of Service, as well as our Refund Policy.
Each purchase grants you a license to use the product according to the terms included with the download. Licenses are non-transferable and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.
Product Licensing
All ToolsForMotion products, both free and paid, are licensed for personal and commercial use. You may use them on any number of your own projects.
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the tools with others. Each license is for one user only. If multiple people in your team need access, each person requires their own license.
You may not modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the tools. The tools are provided as compiled binaries and the source code remains the intellectual property of ToolsForMotion.
Some tools require activation and limit how many machines a licence may be active on at one time. You can move a licence between your own machines from your account. Attempting to circumvent activation, licence checks or usage limits is a breach of these terms and may result in your licence being withdrawn without refund.
Free products
Free products are provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind. While we do our best to ensure they work as described, support for free products is offered at our discretion and is not guaranteed.
Early access and beta software
From time to time we make pre-release versions of our tools available to a limited group before general release. These are labelled as early access or beta.
Pre-release software is unfinished by definition. It may contain faults, behave unexpectedly, change substantially between versions, or be withdrawn entirely. It carries a higher risk to your files than released software, so please use it on work you have backed up, and not on anything you cannot afford to lose.
Access is granted at our discretion and may be paused or ended at any time, including if a place is needed elsewhere or the programme closes. Early access is provided free of charge unless we state otherwise, and taking part does not entitle you to a free or discounted licence once the tool is released, though we may choose to offer one.
If you send us feedback, bug reports or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve our products without restriction or payment. You do not have to send us anything.
Everything else in these terms applies to pre-release software as well, including the liability section below.
Liability
Our website and products are provided "as is". We do our best to ensure everything works as expected, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free products. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.
Your files and your work. Some of our tools read, write, copy and organise files on your computer at your instruction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, corruption, deletion or alteration of files, projects, media, libraries or other data, however caused, including where it results from a fault in our software.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We strongly recommend keeping current backups of any project or library you use our tools with, and testing our tools on non-critical work before relying on them.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.
External links
Our site may contain links to websites not operated by us. While we link to trusted services like Polar for payments, we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any external site. We encourage you to review their terms before sharing any personal information.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
